About Me

After getting my BA in music from the University of Dayton, I decided to go back to school and work toward a degree that actually helps me earn a living. I graduated from Youngstown State University with an MBA and Marymount University with a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration). I now work as a data governance manager, helping to develop best practices around data management, usage, and literacy. I find it interesting and fulfilling, but I’m very much aware that it would be mind-numbingly boring to most people, and that’s not why you’re here!

Now that I’m gainfully employed, I’m indulging my lifelong love of music. I play in a few community ensembles in Pittsburgh. I’ve also been composing and arranging for years, but only gathered the courage to share my work publicly a few years ago.

My Work

I don’t compose or arrange to make money. If I’ve written something original or arranged music in the public domain, I’m happy to see it freely distributed and used. I only have two requests:

  • If there is a written program or a website where content is shared, please identify me as the composer/arranger

  • If you distribute my work to someone else, don’t charge them for it

If there are copyright restrictions on an arrangement, I will link to either SheetMusicPlus or SheetMusicDirect where it can be purchased. These sites require a minimum price that is shared between the copyright holder and the site itself. Composers can increase that price to get their own royalties, but I generally don’t do that; any money that changes hands is solely to stay on the right side of copyright law.

Also, you will never ever find an arrangement of Londonderry Air, aka Danny Boy, on this site. Please don’t ask me for one.
